A 50-year-old man with 19 prior criminal records was arrested during a raid in Jalan Batu Maung, Bayan Lepas, today. Southwest District Police Headquarters (IPD) reported that the Narcotics Crime Investigation Division apprehended the suspect following intelligence gathering and a tip-off.
“Police seized 200.1 grams of heroin and 57 grams of methamphetamine, valued at RM11,272, concealed in plastic packages,” the IPD stated on Facebook. The suspect, who tested positive for drugs, has 11 prior criminal records and eight related to drug offenses. He is being investigated under Sections 39B and 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
In a separate case, two men, aged 32 and 55, were arrested for their alleged involvement in a house break-in at Taman Sungai Rusa on January 5. Both suspects reportedly confessed and are under investigation under Section 457 of the Penal Code.#tazhalmedia
